A review of the literature on teenage pregnancy is done to assess the impact of teenage pregnancy on the health of adolescent mothers and the impact on the health of babies, depending upon which some measures can be improvised in the health care delivery system in a coordinated manner with other government stakeholders to prevent teenage marriage and teenage pregnancy. A literature review is adopted as the methodology for this study. The articles are included depending on inclusion and exclusion criteria to ensure the relevance. The main findings reveal that anemia is very common in teenage pregnancy, adolescent pregnant women are more prone to PROM & higher incidence of preterm labor,
pre-eclampsia & cephalopelvic disproportion, and increased rate of LUCS. The most common adverse outcomes noted in babies of teenage pregnancy are the incidence of low birth weight, birth-asphyxia, fetal distress, neonatal hyperbilirubinemia. To prevent teenage pregnancy, there is a need to make awareness against teenage marriage in the community and promote the use of contraceptives among married adolescents and the availability of family planning methods widely at the community. Promotion for generating awareness regarding comprehensive reproductive health, available health care services, and adequate counseling may minimize the teenage pregnancy.

How to cite this article:
Maity S, Mani S, M Prakasamma. Eportfolios used with nursing students trumps the paper version by cutting down on time and storage and is ideal for assessing competency-based studies (Janssens et al., 2022). The ePAD, a version of the eportfolio, is relatively new and warrants review. The use of eportfolios in the education of student nurses offers a platform where a holistic view of nurse’s achievements can be accessed in a bid to advance learning.
Aims: To determine how students were faring with their initial use of ePADs and determine meanings students attributed to their experiences with the technology.
Methods: A qualitative study using semi-structured interviews was undertaken. Thematic analysis of the transcribed responses was conducted in line with Braun and Clarke (2006)1. Ethical approval was
received from the University Research Ethics Committee. No funding was received, and no incentives were given to participants.
Findings: Themes arising included, issues with student’s introduction to the ePAD, using it in placement, and the ability of the placement professionals to use the ePAD.
Conclusion: Benefits accrued from the use of ePADs in placement must be actively maintained through effective communication, software maintenance along with specific training and development for academic
staff, students and placement professionals. Further research on how placement professionals experience using the ePADs is necessary.

How to cite this article:
Newman E, Newman M, Ayo-Ajayi H. Giving young people scientifically accurate, developmentally appropriate sexual health education in a non judgemental manner is essential to assisting them in understanding their bodies, relationships, sexual feelings and accepting personal accountability for a healthy sexual behaviour. Young adults must gain the information, abilities, values, and attitudes necessary to build wholesome and accountable relationships and make wise and responsible choices. The objectives of the study were to assess knowledge and attitude of nursing students regarding sexuality.
Method: Quantitative approach with exploratory research design was used in the study. Sample consisted of 100 nursing students of undergraduate program from Rufaida College of Nursing, Jamia Hamdard
selected by convenient sampling technique. A structured knowledge questionnaire was developed and used for assessment of knowledge and a likert scale was used for attitude assessment. Both tools were developed by the researcher.
Result: The data were obtained and analyzed by descriptive statistics. Only 6 (6%) nursing students had adequate knowledge regarding sexuality and the majority i.e. 94 (94%) nursing students had inadequate
knowledge regarding sexuality. Regarding attitude, it was found that majority of nursing students i.e. 81 (81%) had a favorable attitude and 19 (19%) of nursing students had unfavorable attitude regarding sexuality.
Conclusion: Based on findings, the majority of the students have inadequate knowledge but favorable attitude regarding sexuality. Apart from sex education at school level, adolescents need sex education at university level also. This would provide them numerous opportunities to think about all facets of sexuality and inculcate an optimistic sense of their own sexuality.

How to cite this article:
Rajlaxmi, Parveen S.
